Spiritual Growth

Celebrate and Grow

As Christians, we know that the Holy Spirit dwells within in each person, children and elders alike, regardless of situation or season of life. At Spiritan Springs, all are encouraged to celebrate the animation of the Holy Spirit in our person, soul and spirit, through taking part in the sacraments, prayer, praise and in meditation upon the Word of God and His creation. To embrace the Holy Spirit in joy, is to embrace life in joy. This is the life we want to share with the community and beyond: His work is ours, for we are the hands, feet, ears and tongues of God to one another.

Sacramental participation

Nothing that we can ever do or hope to achieve can be done without God. He fashioned us according to His design and, through the death and resurrection of Jesus, ensured that we might enjoy eternal life with Him. Living in full communion with Him, through prayer, the sacraments and in our thoughts, words and deeds, we can all grow in deeper relationship with Him and develop wholly holy lives.

Godly governance

The pastoral leadership of God's apostles on earth provides clear governance for a clear focus toward unity, from which the church - and the communities she serves - derive strength and purpose. It is this governance that promotes the individual's growth in peace and generosity, essential for a healthy and happy community. Every person is encouraged to live boldly in God's holy word. With His word at heart, all are encouraged to observe more closely the marvels of creation, to develop a deeper love and fuller sense of awe and wonder for the Creator of the Universe. In so doing, we can more naturally grow to follow his command and example of Love, in our interactions with others and with His planet.
